Another kitty has joined AND there is a face in the window..can you see it??

Even the banty chickens are enjoying the sun today!

All of the creatures (including me!) are enjoying the sunshine today and the somewhat warmer temps. Do ya suppose that silly woodchuck will predict more winter? I'd be willing to say that God overrules what anything He created predicts!! I am looking forward to getting started on building that greenhouse and loading it up with seeds all tucked into their trays awaiting the miracle of life.
I will post more pics on that soon as we get started on the greeenhouse.

Visions of a greenhouse!

The dog is Sonny and you can see around him the path in the snow...that is approx where the 12' x 20' greenhouse will go. This is looking west towards our house.

A Greenhouse??!!

What have we done???
We bought a green house this week. Now my husband is telling me that he wants it to be full of things growing! Well, it will be really good to be able to grow things outside instead of upstairs in an old bedroom. No more hauling water and dirt upstairs or worrying about the mess! I think the greenhouse will provide a little more light also!!!
We have signed up with Local Roots, it is a year around farmers market in Wooster, as producers; http://www.localrootswooster.com/. We needed an additional outlet for our produce plus it is just fun meeting new people. You can also see us here http://www.localharvest.org/farms/M28572 at Local Harvest.
We are really looking forward to spring this year. We have lots to do and I can't wait for our own fresh produce to eat!!

Time to start the new year off by eating right and giving your body great nutrition. My own thought is that you should eat food as close to the way God made it as possible. Avoid processed stuff and eat saturated fats. Get adequate Vit D and get your rest.

Resting completely in God

Today is the Lord's day! We had a great time of sharing at church today from China. One thing became very clear to me as I listened to these men preach, I have much need of growth in my personal walk with Christ. I have been learning about true and total dependency on Christ in all things. Do I truly rest in Christ and in all things? My husband and I have walked thru some difficult times in the last several years and they have been times of growing but we have both found ourselves grumbling often. This grumbling is a sign of discontentment in my own heart. Grumbling tells God that what He has for me at present is not good enough and that I want something else. This does not honor God.
I learned today that in James 1:3 we are told that when problems arise...we are to count it ALL joy. Not some or sometimes but ALL. This means no matter what, we are told to expect problems because they will come, that we must respond correctly and that is with joy. We must say "thank you Lord" when trouble comes and believe that it is for our good. God is a wonderful Father and is always teaching us and testing our faith. The bible tells of how He tested Abraham;s faith too. Even Christ was tempted by Satan but that was with God's knowledge as was Job's trouble's.
The world has truly filled my head with useless, vain things. I am reminded of the preacher in Ecclesiastes who says that all is vanity. The whole duty of man is to love the Lord and keep all of His commandments.(notice the word all) The world always promotes self and does not understand God's word's of denying self and picking up that cross to follow Christ. It is foolishness to them who are perishing and so as a believer I must never seek counsel from the perishing. I can find all I need in God's word as it is sufficient.
Back to the original question...do I truly rest in God in all things? As He changes my heart and tests and teaches me, I believe that I am resting more and more in Him as I realize how very powerless I really am on my own.

Feedback

It has been good to see the positive feedback so far from the Fall of the Republic video I sent out. More than I thought are quietly aware of the general direction of things.
Isn't it a great thing to see our Lord using Obama for His purposes? I am sure those in charge basically mean these things for evil but God will use them for good.
If to live is Christ and to die is gain then what have I to lose?

The Fall of the Republic...Are you ready??

Today I sent an email to everyone in my address book. It is called The Fall of the Republic. The Republic being the United States. There is a lot of stuff here that is alarming. It is very well documented and factual as far as I can see. Our leaders are selling us out to the globalists. The New World Order is well under way and the US is the last country to be destroyed and taken in by the global oligarchists...an elite, limited ruling class of people.

The big climate change meeting happening in Copenhagen on Dec 7th has much to do with furthering the New World Order.

Christ is returning, make no mistake about that. We are all running out of time as the darkness gathers. Do you know Christ as your personal savior? Now is the acceptable time. Christ is the only hope that humanity has for a future.
Those who would control the world do not care about anything but money and power. To them the middle class of Americans is a plague to be done away with.

Are you thinking that this sounds pretty extreme? I did until I began to do some digging to learn for myself what is happening out there.
The main stream media is bought and paid for by our government...they broadcast only what those in charge allow them to broadcast. You have to find some other sources of news to learn some truth.

This is all for the effort of being aware and living in reality. Jesus taught in parables about being ready and watching and not being taken unaware. He is coming! Are you ready or are you unaware??
God knows what we as believers will suffer in times to come but God has always taken care of His people. As God never changes then I believe He will continue to take care of His people. We must keep our eyes on Christ but we must not sleep while the world falls apart. The great Deceiver is at work and will trick you into believing anything to keep you lost and without Christ. There will be great trials to come for believers and we must know our enemy and depend on our God wholly.

I will post more soon about the New World Order. It has been planned for a long time and Obama is just a puppet to help usher it in soon.
